Talk about your old-school kind of player. Big and strong, and I don’t mean “weight room” strong, I mean “country strong”! Unfortunately, he had to play with some injuries in 2017, but he still had a great season. At times he was unblockable coming off the edge. He led the Lyncs with 3.5 sacks. Also lined up at middle linebacker against Meridian, to give them a little different look. He was named All-Conference 1st Team at defensive line for the second year in a row. He was also named All-State 2nd Team at offensive line.
