What a story. What a season! Cam Ellis had waited a long time for this season, and he put up some tremendous numbers. Before 2017 he had very little varsity action (completing one pass for five yards). But, he aired it out in this past fall. He passed for a school-record 387 yards against Meridian in week two, and then broke his own record two weeks later, passing for 439 yards against Bellingham. He was rarely sacked, and always knew what routes his receivers were running. He became just the second player in school history to pass for over 2000 yards in a season.
