Barbo is one of the best wide receivers Whatcom County has ever produced. He led the Mountaineers with 52 catches, and the next player had just six. Every team knew he was going to get the ball through the air, and he still couldn’t be stopped. It would be amazing to see what kind of numbers he could produce in a passing offense. He holds virtually every Mount Baker receiving record, including career catches (110) and receiving touchdowns (25). His 2224 career receiving yards is also a school record, and is 7th all time in Whatcom County history. He was named All-Conference 1st Team wide receiver for the second time in his career, and he was also named All-State 1st Team as a defensive back.
