One of the Mountaineer captains, and an extremely smart kid, Linderman took over at tight end for T.J. Bass in 2017. And, as customary in the Mount Baker offense, the tight end is mostly used as an extra blocker on the offensive line. He would sometimes sneak out and catch passes (he caught two against Roosevelt). He also had a knack for getting after the opposing quarterback as a blitzing outside linebacker.
