Pure strength, most teams ran away from him over and over again. It’s rare when a high school player can bench press 100 pounds more than he weighs. Awesome athleticism as a guard, and teamed with Kirk Veldman to form one heck of a left side of an offensive line. Was also a great punter once again. He was sometimes used to kick off, and would usually punch the ball with his foot that would create a “knuckle ball” affect. He was named All-Conference 1st Team at both offensive line and defensive line for the second season in a row.
