Over the summer when I watched the Lions practice there were two things that stood out. One of them was obviously the absence of the legendary coach Curt Kramme. The other was when I saw this player at safety that looked like a clone of Kam Chancellor. He was huge, fast and could hit like a truck! Of course, that player was Weidenaar. He led Lynden in receiving yards, and ended his career with 48 catches for 872 yards and seven touchdowns. He was named All-Conference 1st Team at both wide receiver and defensive back.
