I probably saw Nooksack Valley live more than any other team this season, and it seemed that every game I saw #65 was wreaking havoc in the opposing team’s backfield. I kept having to look at my program to see who #65 was. After about the third or fourth game, I knew it was Bruland, and he kept after it the rest of the season. He also scored a touchdown late in the state playoff game against Cascade Christian, a game that I sadly wasn’t able to attend.
